Home Office introduced super premium service for certain types of visa applications from 06 April 2010. For a fee of GBP 15,000 an UKBA officer will visit you at a location of your choice to process your visa application in the UK. You will then provide your biometric information which consists of your fingerprints and photograph. This is probably the highest fee ever charged by UK immigration for one of their services. As an alternative to the regular Postal or Premium applications, you are able to use the Home Office's 'Super Premium' visa application service.

The advantage of this service is that Home Office's case workers visit you at a time of your choice. As the Home Office comes to you, you therefore save the time that you would have had to spend travelling to, and waiting at, a Premium Service Centre. We will schedule a courier who will collect your application forms and documentation.

You will attend our office or we can schedule the Home Office officers to visit you to enrol your biometric information (fingerprints and facial photograph) and obtain your signature; and Home Office will make a decision on your application within 24 hours of enrolling your biometric information.

How does it work

Blackstone Law Associates will arrange the visit by the Home Office at a location of your choice and at a convenient time for you (between 10:00 and 15:00, Monday to Friday). To request or amend a visit you must give us at least 3 working days’ notice.

What is required on the appointment date?

Home Office use a range of equipment to enrol your biometric information, the location for the visit must have:

  • A private room with good light (either natural or electric lighting);
  • A power supply; and
  • A table or desk where equipment can be placed.

Home Office will confirm your appointment slot within 2 working days of the initial contact form being received. All applicants that are providing their biometric information must arrive on time for their appointment.

The super-premium service is a mobile service.

It means that:

  • A courier will collect your application forms and documents
  • Premium service staff will visit you to get your biometric information (fingerprints and photo) and your signature

Who can use this service?

You must be in the UK and applying to:

  • Extend your stay (known as ‘limited leave to remain’)
  • Settle permanently (known as ‘indefinite leave to remain’)

You can use this service for 4 main applicants and a maximum of 10 people per visit.

You can’t use the super-premium service if you’re applying for a registration certificate.

Fees

The fee for this service is £10,500 per visit, plus the premium service fee for your application type.
